Amanleek, an Egyptian digital insurance brokerage, has partnered with ZenHR, a regional human resources and payroll management platform, to develop integrated solutions for corporate medical insurance in Egypt. The partnership aims to connect employee data with insurance coverage, automating processes triggered by new hires and departing employees while advancing the digital transformation of the country’s insurance sector.

The collaboration addresses a recurring challenge for human resources teams, which often need to manually update insurance records whenever employees join or leave a company. Through the planned technical integration, the two platforms aim to reduce manual data entry, minimize errors, save time, and improve coordination between businesses and insurance providers.

Mohab Abu Eita, CEO and founder of Amanleek, said the partnership reflects the company’s vision of automating Egypt’s insurance ecosystem by connecting employee lifecycle events with insurance coverage in real time. Ehab El-Sokkary, co-founder of Amanleek, added that the collaboration represents another step toward simplifying corporate insurance through technological integration between the two platforms, describing it as the first partnership of its kind in Egypt.

Under the planned integration, employee information recorded in ZenHR will serve as the basis for updating insurance status, allowing the system to initiate medical coverage when a new employee joins a company and support its termination when an employee leaves, in accordance with applicable policy terms and procedures. The companies expect the integration to reduce the administrative burden on HR teams, improve record accuracy and make insurance management more efficient throughout an employee’s tenure.

Yousef Shammoun, CEO of ZenHR, said medical insurance is among the human resources functions that consume considerable administrative time in Egypt, as every new hire and employee departure can require manual coordination with insurance providers. He explained that the integration will use employee information recorded on ZenHR as the starting point for insurance administration, with the aim of saving businesses time, reducing errors, and ensuring employees receive coverage from their first day, subject to applicable insurance procedures.

Amanleek and ZenHR have opened a waiting list for customers using both platforms ahead of the integration’s launch. The companies also plan to refer customers to each other, conduct joint marketing activities and announce the service through their official channels to encourage adoption across the Egyptian market, while exploring opportunities to make insurance administration a more integrated part of everyday HR operations.

Amanleek currently serves more than 500 Egyptian and international companies, works with 18 insurance providers, and operates across 20 Egyptian governorates. ZenHR, meanwhile, serves more than 2,500 active companies across 11 countries in the Middle East and North Africa, providing a regional customer base that could support the adoption of integrated human resources and insurance solutions.

The partnership comes as Egypt’s insurance sector continues to expand, creating opportunities for technology-driven services that improve operational efficiency and customer experience. According to data from Egypt’s Financial Regulatory Authority, total insurance premiums collected in the country reached approximately EGP 65.7 billion in the first half of 2026, up from EGP 56.8 billion in the same period of 2025, representing annual growth of 15.7%, while insurance claims paid during the first six months of 2026 reached approximately EGP 28.4 billion.

The growth of the insurance market highlights opportunities for InsurTech companies to streamline policy administration, coverage updates, and claims-related processes, particularly in corporate medical insurance, where integrating insurance systems with HR platforms could help businesses manage changing employee records more accurately and efficiently. ZenHR has also strengthened its local presence by opening its sixth regional office in Cairo, as part of plans for targeted investments exceeding EGP 150 million in Egypt over the next two years.

Founded in 2019, Amanleek is an Egyptian InsurTech company focused on simplifying access to insurance for individuals, families and businesses through digital tools that help customers compare offers, select coverage, manage policies and follow up on claims and reimbursements. The company holds insurance brokerage licence No. 109, issued by Egypt’s Financial Regulatory Authority, and offers products including corporate and individual medical insurance and motor insurance. Founded in 2017, ZenHR is a regional HR and payroll management platform serving more than 2,500 active companies across 11 countries in the Middle East and North Africa, with solutions covering employee lifecycle management, payroll, leave administration and performance management, alongside support for local regulatory requirements in markets including Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Kuwait and Iraq.
