Canon Middle East is strengthening its collaboration with existing distribution partners in Egypt through Frame the Future, a two-day event taking place in Cairo on November 3–4, 2026, bringing together distributors, channel partners, retailers, systems integrators and imaging technology professionals to explore the latest photography, video and printing solutions while exchanging insights on evolving customer needs.
The event was launched with a press conference outlining Canon Middle East’s priorities for deepening cooperation with its Egyptian partners and helping them respond to changing consumer demands. The initiative also serves as an ongoing regional platform connecting Canon’s imaging and printing heritage with emerging creative applications and the local expertise of its distribution network, with Egypt serving as its starting point.
Egypt’s growing creative community and established partner network represent important opportunities for Canon’s consumer imaging business, according to Binoy Nair, Director of Consumer Business Unit (B2C) at Canon Middle East, who highlighted the importance of combining technology with specialised product knowledge and hands-on experiences to help partners address customer requirements.
The evening programme on November 3 focuses on photography and video, giving participants the opportunity to experience Canon’s imaging solutions firsthand. Mohamed Alaa, CEO of Cairo Photography Club (CPC), will demonstrate the video capabilities of the Canon EOS R6 V camera through a live presentation drawing on his experience in content production. The Canon EOS R8 Mark II will also be showcased alongside other imaging products, allowing partners to explore how content creators are using photography technologies.
On November 4, the programme will shift its focus to Canon’s home and office printing portfolio, highlighting the strategic importance of the Egyptian market for printing solutions and channel partnerships. Particular attention will be given to strengthening engagement with systems integrators and value-added distributors, demonstrating how Canon’s technologies, applications and integrated solutions can deliver value beyond the hardware itself.
Through practical demonstrations, discussions centred on customer needs and knowledge exchange, Frame the Future aims to help partners develop their offerings, respond to changing market requirements and identify opportunities for sustainable business growth. The initiative reflects Canon Middle East’s focus on the concept of the “Customer of the Future”, recognising that creative and everyday needs are evolving alongside the technologies and formats customers use.
The event also reflects Canon’s corporate philosophy of Kyosei, which promotes living and working together for the common good, through collaboration with partners and communities contributing to the development of Egypt’s imaging sector.
