Etisalat from &e in Egypt, a leading provider of telecommunications and information technology services, celebrated receiving the award of the fastest mobile network in Egypt according to ®Speedtest application from Ookla, As the it passed data speed tests that came in accordance with international standards and that calculate the data of tests conducted by Internet users.
Eng. Amr Fathi, Chief Executive Officer of the Technology and Information Technology Sector and Engineer Ahmed Yahya, Head of the Individual Sector, on behalf of Eng. Hazem Metwali, CEO of Etisalat in Egypt, received the Award for the fastest mobile network in Egypt from Mr. Stephen Bay, President and CEO of Okla, after Etisalat Egypt achieved the highest speeds during the first and second quarter of this year 2023, and Etisalat ranked first in download speed, loading speed and arrival time.
Engineer Amr Fathi, Chief Executive Officer of the Technology and Information Technology Sector at Etisalat from &e in Egypt, said: He is very happy that the company received this award, especially after the company passed many tests that confirmed the speed of its data, as Etisalat from &e in Egypt also won the first place in the reports of the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority and the least violations during 2022 and 2023.

Engineer Ahmed Yahya, CEO of the Personal Sector of Etisalat &e in Egypt, also expressed his happiness with the award, stressing that it is a magnacle for the efforts of the company’s team. He added that the company is always keen to implement its expansion plans in which it relies on injecting large investments in its infrastructure to keep pace with the continuous and huge increase in data use rates in Egypt, which resulted in the company obtaining the highest ratings from Ookla Global, pointing out that Etisalat’s investments in Egypt over the past years ranged from 5 to 6 billion pounds annually, which led to raising the efficiency of the network and the quality of services provided to customers.
