Through the integration, payments processed through Tap N Pay are automatically transferred to Odoo and matched with sales orders, invoices, and accounting entries, significantly reducing manual intervention while improving data accuracy and accelerating financial reconciliation and settlement processes.
The integration also enables merchants to transform compatible smart devices into fully integrated points of sale, allowing payments to be recorded and reconciled within the business management system. By bringing sales, payments, and accounting into a single operational environment, the solution reduces duplicate data entry and human errors while providing businesses with a centralized and more accurate view of their financial and commercial activities.
Commenting on the launch, Bassem Lotfy, Head of Business Development at Fawry, said that the company continues to invest in innovative digital payment solutions that respond to the evolving needs of businesses across different sectors, while expanding its services through strategic partnerships that simplify operational processes and enable companies to adopt more efficient and flexible business ecosystems.
He added that the integration represents another step toward strengthening Egypt’s digital payments ecosystem by delivering a seamless experience that connects sales, business management, and payments through a unified platform.
Eng. Ramadan Khalil, CEO of Solutions CDS, said that the integration supports the vision of the Central Bank of Egypt by helping businesses unify sales, payments, and accounting processes to improve operational efficiency and enhance the customer experience. He added that the solution builds on the partnership between CDS and Fawry to develop intelligent solutions that address the needs of the Egyptian market and contribute to creating a more flexible, efficient, and scalable payments ecosystem.
The solution is designed to serve businesses across multiple sectors in the Egyptian market, particularly retail, wholesale, food and beverage, and manufacturing. By improving point-of-sale efficiency, reducing operational procedures and errors, and enhancing the accuracy of financial data and settlements, the integration provides businesses with a more streamlined approach to managing their day-to-day commercial and financial operations.
The launch also supports Egypt’s broader efforts to develop its digital payments infrastructure and expand the adoption of SoftPOS solutions through smartphones and tablets. By enabling businesses to accept digital payments without relying on traditional POS hardware, the solution contributes to expanding financial inclusion, reducing dependence on cash, and supporting Egypt’s digital transformation objectives under Vision 2030.
Through the launch, Fawry continues to strengthen its role as a key partner in Egypt’s digital transformation and electronic payments ecosystem, leveraging innovative financial solutions and strategic partnerships to help businesses adopt advanced digital technologies and build more efficient, connected, and scalable operations.
